About Primary PE Ltd

After establishing Premier Soccer School Limited over the last ten years, Primary PE Ltd was formed in 2004. Premier Soccer School has been successful in providing extra curricular football and multi sports to children in many primary schools in Essex.

With the introduction of PPA time, Primary PE Limited has been set up to provide a full range of games and PE to schools during curriculum time. Two schools, Plumberow Primary and Down Hall Primary, decided to implement the use of PE as PPA cover in September 2004. The success of this led to other head teachers contacting us and wishing to introduce Primary PE Ltd into their schools. We now work in a large number of schools covering a wide area of Essex, with expansion to now cover South East of England.

The company directors are driven to provide a higher level of physical education in all schools we work in. We like to become part of the school, work close to head and class teachers. Our aim is to listen to P.E co-ordinators and give the school a greater direction in PE.

Due to the increased number of schools, our coaching base also had to widen. We have coaches who can provide expertise in a wide range of sports. All staff are qualified in a wide range of sports, first aid and have been CRB checked. The company also has full insurance in line with local County requirements.

Our staff have attended workshops set up by local sports colleges. The courses are delivered to AOTT’s and give our staff valuable information and understanding of the requirements needed for working in schools.

All staff have also attended education awareness courses. After this they have then been observed to gain their AOTTS certificate.

Our company covers all aspects of the PE curriculum including games, dance and gym. We provide this to children in Foundation, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2. Our company can provide its own lesson plans, or follow lesson plans/schemes of work which individual schools are already using. We are familiar with both the LCP and Val Sabin schemes. We also keep a continued assessment of the children throughout the year to aid teachers with their end of term reports.

As a company we have been constant in keeping up with requirements for AOTTS. We have built good relationships with SSCOS and local sports colleges.

We have a good experienced coaching base and the capacity to take on new schools.
